Ella Taker is a Canadian first nation artist, who creates vibrant, and colourful mixed-media oil paintings inspired by the beauty of nature and the essence of freedom.
A graduate from UFV in Visual Arts, Ella lives and creates abstract realism artwork in her Vancouver based studio. Celebrated for her unique use of colour and bold brushstrokes, her work has been exhibited throughout the Fraser Valley, Canada. Her paintings are a mixture of intuitive abstracts, captivating portraits, and breathtaking landscapes.
Committed to embracing authenticity, honouring animals, and travelling the world, her mission is to bring joy through her paintings to kindred-spirited souls worldwide.

Her passion for adventures often takes her backpacking the world. Through her life she has continued to connect with new places; bringing an appreciation for culture, colours, and elements of nature into her artistic practice.
The intricacies of the globe fascinate her and weave into many of her paintings in a unique way. Her optimistic and bright disposition pours onto the canvas as vibrant juicy colours.

Ellas studio can be found in beautiful Vancouver, Canada. She extends her deep love for the land and gratitude to live and work here. She pays her respects to elders past, present and emerging, and acknowledges this is the unceded traditional territories of the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations, and has been stewarded by them since time immemorial.
Ella is a Katzie First Nation (q̓ic̓əy̓) Artist from the Fraser Valley region of British Columbia whose calling is to paint. She grew up in Langley and Vancouver Island intimately connecting with the Fraser River, the Fort-to-Fort trails, and the Pacific Ocean. Throughout her life she has continued to travel and connect with new places. Bringing an appreciation for culture, colours, and elements of nature from around the world into her artistic practice.
